The iron Monkeys is a collective of artists and idea breeders. Check out the Blog for the latest updates on what we are doing.
Current projects
Reno Man Grove
We have installed one of our trees in
The Mangrove - Reno, a nod to the collection of recycled material trees from Burning Man 2007 of the same name, sits on the bank of the Truckee River. This installation will be up until December 13th, 2008.
We are installing one of the Tree Spires in the Rainier Vista development. Rainier vista is the most diverse neighbor hood in Seattle and the development is a mix of low income housing, apartments, and condo's making it the perfect breeding ground for a mix community. In the middle of this development is a park which will become the home of one of the Tree Spires.

2008 Diablo
Diablo is the new fire cauldron that sits between the keyhole artpiece and Center Camp. This project is a nice example of various blacksmithing techniques.

2007 Tree Spires
The Tree Spires was the first project under the name Iron Monkeys. We created 4 15' tall trees that were part of the "Man Grove" around the man. They were placed at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock postions.

2006 Luminferous
The Luminferous project was a 5' tall lantern with an additional 38 fire pots. This project was the begining of the idea of the Iron Monkeys.
